Hi, my name is Jordan :-) Since this is my first blog, I thought I would use these first few posts to tell y'all about myself!
I've been raised in a southern christian home...so needless to say I love God, I love my family...and I love all things country :-) Those will be the main topics on this blog!
Jeremiah 29:11 is one of my favorite verses! I always feel like I'm in a time of changing, growing, or working on myself...and I find this verse very comforting through all of that :-)
As a christian teenage girl, I'm trying my best to live up to God's plans for me! Even though I'm confident in the person he's helping me to become, I also know I'm the farthest thing from perfect...so bear with me :-)
Okay, now I'll tell you a few things about myself! I was born in Florida and have lived here ever since...YES, that means the beach is my absolute favorite place! It doesn't even really matter where, as long as there is sand and water, I'm a happy girl :-) I also LOVE to play tennis! There are many things I like to do, but tennis and volunteering are my true passions. Something else that's very important to me, is my family (including my two adorable dogs). I know it isn't considered "cool" for a "normal teenager" to be close with their family, but I'm not a normal teenager...and I happen to love my family :)
Another thing you should know about me, is that I enjoy the simply things in life! I try to remind myself to live each day as if it were my last..to just enjoy life and be happy...but sometimes I can't help but think about the future. I guess it's just the dreamer inside of me!
The last thing I wanted to write about today, is my love of all things country! Let's start with country music. Some of my favorites are Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Blake Shelton, Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, Jake Owen, Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift Lady Antebellum, Rodney Atkins, etc. :-) I love the southern accents, southern charm, our morals and values, just the way we live life down here...everything!
Some people have blogs that are devoted solely to things like fashion or cooking...wellllll, I can't make any promises as to what this blog will be like...but it will be me :-) Please feel free to follow along as I write about what is going on in my beautiful mess of a life! Thank y'all so much for reading this... I know that it's long and very unorganized, and you probably had other things to do during the time it took to read this.
